How we handle your information
What this site collects, what happens when you call a demo line, and how the recordings published here are redacted.
This document is not finished. 6 sections below are marked as not yet written, because they need a lawyer rather than a copywriter. The sections that are written describe how this site and these demo lines actually work, and are accurate.
What this page covers
This describes what happens to information when someone uses scaileai.com, calls one of the demo lines published on it, or submits the form on the Talk to an Expert page. It does not describe what happens to call data inside a client engagement, which is governed by the agreement with that client.
What the website itself collects
The pages are static. There is no account, no login and no tracking that follows a visitor between sites. Reading the site writes nothing about the reader.
Two things on the site do collect information, and both do it only when someone chooses to use them:
- The Talk to an Expert form. Name, company, email, phone, and the operational figures the form asks for, such as monthly call volume and answer rate. These go to our CRM so a person can respond.
- The return on investment calculator. The figures typed into it are used to draw the result on screen. They are sent to our CRM only if the form beneath it is submitted.
Not yet written. Whether the site uses analytics, and which. As built it has none. If any is added, it belongs in this section before it goes live.
The demo phone lines
The numbers published on this site reach live AI agents. Calling one is a real call:
- The agent states that the call is recorded, and identifies itself as AI, before asking anything.
- The recording and a transcript are retained so the call can be reviewed and the agent improved.
- Anyone who calls can ask for their recording to be deleted.
Not yet written. How long demo line recordings are kept, and the address a deletion request goes to.
The call recordings published on this site
Some real calls are published on this site with their audio and transcript. Before any of them is published, personal details are removed from both.
In the transcript, names, phone numbers, addresses, dates of birth, email addresses and payment details are replaced. In the audio, the same moments are silenced and then covered with a tone. The process checks its own work: every redacted moment is measured in the published file, and if any of them fails the check the audio is withheld and only the transcript is published.
A call reaches this site only with the consent of the party whose line it was.
Who else sees this information
Information from the form reaches our CRM. Calls to the demo lines pass through our telephony and voice providers in order to connect and be processed.
